iren lillian shuter mother of four two daughters lyn and maureen two sons david and terry worked as a traffic warden died at the age of forty seven of cancer. we were all so shocked when mum died, our sister maureen found our mum dead in the early hour in the morning of june 21st 1969 just a year after i got married. my sister was only nine years old when she found my mum. mum was such a brave person because we never even new she was ill i was living away from home at the time of her death it was such a shock i still find it hard to think about it after all these years she was not just a mum but my best friend.and to this day i still miss her today would have been her birthday.

sorry this message for mothers day is late, but i didnt know how to leave tributes at the time. Me and mum lit a candle by your wedding photo on mothers day to remember you by. Even though i didnt know you in person, i think by the stories mum told me, what would you be like if you were here, and what would abbie be like with you. Mum thinks about you every minute and even though she doesnt say she is i know, she always has a smile on her face and laughs to herself. I guess shes remembering the good times you had.
